Annual 2007 Education Mass presided by Archbishop Thomas Collins

All Catholic educators of the archdiocese are invited to pause before the new academic year and gather together for a celebration of the Eucharist. This is a yearly opportunity to dedicate ourselves once again to the teaching vocation to which we are called and to receive a special blessing. Archbishop Thomas Collins will be celebrating the 6th annual Education Mass on

WHEN: Wednesday August 29th 2007
TIME: 6:00 pm
WHERE: Saint Paul’s Basilica, 83 Power St.

Following the mass, there will be a dinner in the parish hall after which Archbishop Thomas Collins will speak about

“Teaching from the Heart”

Everyone, of course, is welcome to attend the mass for free. Tickets for the dinner are $40 each. Please e-mail your requests for dinner reservations to barry.white@tcdsb.org. End of the year social BBQ

Come celebrate the end of our school year at the Catholic Teacher’s Guild Potluck Picnic in High Park ! With vacation in sight, teachers unite!

When: 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 8th
Where: The picnic area between the petting zoo and the castle playground (by the 1st parking lot you come to if you take the High Park Boulevard entrance)

Bring what:

• Scrumptious food and/or drinks to share
• Comfy clothes if you’d like to be part of our ultimate Frisbee match

Send us an email to let us know what you’ll bring, ie. Salads, sandwiches, treats, vege’s, fruit, drinks, paper plates, napkins, cups, cutlery, etc; so we can fill in the gaps.
